Card Specs Conforms to CR-80, ISO 7810-16 standards for card size & thickness
Signature Panel Either Paper, Hot Stamped, Screened, or Screened with overprint, as required
Magnetic Stripe Can be either Hico or Loco, with Loco (three track 300 oersted), Hico (ranges from three track 650 oersted to 4000 oersted). 
Hologram For added Security 
Encoding Is data recorded on the magnetic stripe
Embossing The alpha / numeric characters like name, card number etc. is punched on the card.
Tipping The colours (gold / silver / etc.) which are applied on the alpha / numeric embossed characters
Thermal Photoprinting Photo images and signatures are scanned and printed on the card along with flat writing
Infill / Indent Printing Front Indent Printing for Debit and Reverse indent printing for Credit Cards.
Card inserting & mailing The automatic process of inserting and sealing the card into an envelope along with any attachments-letter/ promotional material
Scratch Printing Scratch off to conceal the PIN

LAN Local Area Network
EMV Standards being set by Europay, MasterCard & VISA for Chip cards.
Microprocessor Card Is very secure with inbuilt processing unit. Used mainly for financial cards and where high level of card security is required.
Memory Cards Can be Secure also, but is nit intelligent enough to do processing.
